Not much you can say about construction paper. This is a good thickness and works great for the things my 7 year old needs construction paper for. As another reviewer said, it's not a dark black, but a dark greyish black. But was happy to find the longer size since even the crafts stores out here didn't have any in this size.

The color is a really a washed-out black/ dark gray. You get what you paid for. Spend more if you need black paper.
