The item was delivered during the time specified by the seller and came in good condition. After inspecting the item I was pleased with its size and looks and it held onto my windscreen firmly, in that, to remove it takes a little effort because of the strong suction of the cup. The gripper holds the phone firmly and can be released by a button which is attached to the side. It has the ability of rotating the phone a full 360 degrees to suit your needs. I've been using the TaoTronics TT-SH02 Car Windshield & Dashboard Mount Cradle Holder for about a month now and am very please. The suction cup is very effective, so much so that it takes just a bit of effort to remove (a good problem from my perspective). The grippers are well designed. Just put your phone in place and squeeze the gripper arms together. They are ratcheted and hold in place. A easy to use button releases the grippers in a gradual hydraulic fashion, press and the grippers slowly open, stop pressing and the grippers stop. The swivel provides a good variety of angles, the phone can be used vertically or horizontally. So far the unit has proven to be durable. For $11 I am very pleased, the item is easily worth twice that.Sticks to the glass like there's no tomorrow. I did not try the dashboard with the sticky pedestal this product comes with though.I love the two rubber coated holders that can slowly go apart by the push of a button. There's also a flip-down bar for holding the phone in a certain vertical position if you wish.
I think you can stick any phone into this holder with equal success. I bought it for my future upgrade to Note 2, but it works fine with my Galaxy Note (original) as well. I don't even have to take the case from my phone to fit it in. Pulling the phone out is easy as well. You could do this with one hand. Push the button and pull the phone out. Same with putting the phone in. You just put the phone in and then grab the holders with one hand pushing them together for a nice grip on your phone.
Another thing I love is that I can still use the phone camera to shoot a video while i drive if i wished to.

Comes with all items needed and tightens up firm for my iPhone 5. The smooth plate with double sided tape (for non-smooth dash surface) unfortunately is not strong enough for curved dash placement. May be fine for 100% flat placement. Suction cup is fine.Save 57% off
