Purchasing the extended warranty I think is a wise move. You see so many people out there having to "deal with" having a cracked screen I've even been one and it cost me almost as much to fix it as it would've to purchase a new one! So many things can happen that you don't mean for to happen. It's best to have that peace of mind knowing your covered. I requested a written copy rather than a download version and recieved it fairly promptly through the mail. Let's hope I don't have to use it though!
