Purchased this receiver to install into a Jeep Wrangler. We do not carry CD's in the Jeep and many times where we go radio reception is not the greatest. We use Ipods, Iphones exclusively for our music and wanted an inexpensive receiver that would hold and charge the iphone while we were out wheeling. This receiver fit our wish list. We are very happy with it, it holds the phone solidly does not shake around. The sound is fine. Controls are intuitive, integrates with the phone perfectly. Features compare to receivers that are twice if not three times the price.

Only complaint is the blue light around the volume control is very bright. I searched around and eventually found a decal that covered the white area around the knob and it's not nearly as blinding as it was.
