This is the first time I've ever used Digital Optical Audio Cable. I have an older A/V tuner, w/o HDMI inputs, set-up about 15' from my video equipment. I used the BlueRigger Digital Optical Audio Toslink Cable from my LCD TV output to connect my home theater system. It sounds gear. The cable is excellently made, very flexible, and small enough to hide in a cable raceway.

This product works well enough, but doesn't lock into place like other Toslink optical cables I have. It comes unseated when bumped, but if you don't tend to bump or move your cables it works great and at a great price.

No problem with function, just note that the connector to my preamp is a loose fit, but does not affect performance. Might fall out easy though, but is usable, and nice product for the price.
