An aux cable is a total must if you have an ipod and a compatible car stereo. My friends all had regular cables that were always in the way or getting tangled.

This cable is very convenient because it is only as long as you need it to be. At first I was worried that it might not stay the length that I chose (since the cord is retractable) but the ipod is enough weight to keep the cord extended.

Unlike other aux cables, this cord is only about as thick as standard headphone cords. This hasn't presented a problem for me yet.

The only issue that I have had with it is that it is so small that I have almost lost it a few times in my car. Now it has a special spot that it stays when not in use.

UPDATE: Sometimes I have trouble getting the end to my ipod connected all the way, so it just takes an extra second to make sure that you're fully connected (or else you're only getting one speaker, so to say).

This was the perfect cable for my kid to connect an iPod Shuffle to a 3.5mm input on a stereo. The retractable cable means no excess cable to get snagged on other stuff. It was so cheap, I bought two in case one was lost.

These things are pretty flimsy and kinda short. However, I don't foresee it breaking with normal use and if your breaking yours you should probably calm down your getting too aggressive with it. I have had mine for a few months and it still works great, I use it to connect my phone to my car stereo and I love the retraction it saves so much space and clutter plus its even a conversation piece. haha.

Works great, serves the purpose for cheap! Not the most durable thing in the world, but when it is retracted it's well protected. Very nice feature, this is well worth the money for cheap! Have a good day!
