This is a very lightweight tripod. I have a Canon T31 DSLR and with the 55 250 zoom lens the camera tends to pull slightly forward on the tripod. Nonetheless, for the money and for occasional use in situations requiring a tripod, this is not a bad deal. I would not take it out into the wilds and expect it to hold up for long. It is easy to set up and re-fold and most importantly, it is very portable. When in its supplied bag, it easily attaches to the bottom of my camera bag with straps and is always available. If you are looking for an easily carried tripod for only occasional use, this might be useful for you as it is for me. If you are looking for something that will hold the camera, a big lens and a dedicated flash, this is probably too light.

I read several reviews that brought up the "flimsy" construction. I believe they were missing the point. This is not meant to hold up a 50 lb camera in gale force wind. It will; however, work great for holding up a typical family camera while being light enough to carry around.

Got this tripod as a gift from my Wife and I just loved it . I travel a lot and this tripod is just perfect for travel. Fits easily in my Bag , very light weight , so no airlines hassles and durable enough to bear the check-in bumps. As for the tripod it has 3 leg partitions which when expended makes it a very decent size tripod . I don't have a very bulky camera which weighs like 1-2 lbs , this tripod holds it very stable . Night pics came out good as expected when mounted to a tripod .Overall very good value for money for the price less than $10.00. Highly recommended for travellers.

Lets start off by being very Clear!!! This is is A $12 dollar Tripod ok !!?? its not a Pro set up, it's not a $100 Dollar set up . It only cost $12 bucks and for that price Its Frakkin awesome !!!!!! its fully adjustable all three legs have 3 sets of clamps for multiple heights there is a built in liguid level to let you know if the the tripod is not level . Its just sexy I could'nt be more pleased .

This is the kind of tripod you need if you make youtube videos or how to videos or if you take pics of hobbies . its aluminum and plastic so while its great for STABLE STATIONARY USE IT'S NOT FOR RUGGED OUTDOOR USE !!!! I get tired of reviews where people give negative comments because they tried to use the product beyond its limitations .
