I bought this radio because it had bluetooth, and when I first had it installed the radio only worked for a day. After that it would no longer power on at all. I sent it to power acoustik, and not only did I have to pay to ship it there, but I also had to send a money order for $15 for return shipping. They fixed the radio for free because it was still under the warranty, and I got it back about 6 weeks later. When I had it installed again, I noticed that it no longer had bluetooth on it. I also noticed that the face of the radio no longer had the green and red phone symbols on it. I'm not sure if they sent me a different radio or a different face, but I know that bluetooth is no longer on the radio. I have been calling power acoustik for a month. One representative told me to email her pictures of the radio and never contacted me after I did, and the last person I spoke with told me to send the radio back to them with another $15 money order for return shipping so they can check to see if they sent me the wrong radio or the wrong face. Bluetooth is not a necessity for me, but I could have bought the same radio without bluetooth for $40 less. I bought this radio on November 9th, and it is now February and I still don't have the radio that I paid for. I will never buy or recommend another power acoustik product ever again!

freaking sweet stereo! i like the features it has. the only problem i have with it is when its cold the touchscreen doesnt work and changes settings if i mess with it when it is cold but overall it is a great stereo and a great price!

I received the Power Acoustik PTID-8920 In Dash DVD AM-FM Receiver with 7-Inches Flip Out Touchscreen Monitor with USB/SD Input for Valentines Day from my loving Husband. My factory CD player no longer worked:( I was thrilled, that is until my hubby attempted to install it himself. It did not work, and we could not figure out why. Needless to say my hubby is very handy, and has a college degree in Electronic Engineering so we thought perhaps it was something wrong with the player itself. We sent it back, received a refund, and then ordered the exact same unit. This time we took it to have it professionally installed after my hubby attempted to install it again with no luck, and it works absolutely FANTASTIC! We were told that my husband connected everything properly, however due to his stereo installation inexperience he was unaware that the wires had to be "grounded". This player for me is money well spent, and it does a whole lot more than we expected. The Bluetooth connect-ability is one of the best features. I paired it with my cellular and I can listen to ALL my music, talk hands free, make phone calls using the In Dash, or even dial a phone number using the remote control. The DVD is really for our kids, and we were surprised at the absolutely clear picture! The sound hits real hard! I can't express enough that for me this gift was PERFECT. I would highly recommend this for the money. Just have it installed professionally :)

Very impressed with the quality of the touch screen, ease of use, and sound quality. Bought this as Christmas gift for my husband. Not being familiar with radio installation, I didn't know all the extras involved. Would have been nice to buy it all together (dash kit and wiring harness). Kept my husband busy for a week! I HIGHLY recommend this product.
