I have cases on both my iPod Classic and iPhone 4S, and with my previous Belkin cable I would have to take the cases off to fit the cable in the headphone jack. Not with this one! This cable is of the highest quality and is well worth the price. I had a cheap cable I was using with my ipod in my car stereo and the sound quality was terrible. I was sorry I bought the ipod because it didn't come near the sound quality of using a cd in the car. Then I thought I would try a better quality cable and bought this one. Now the sound quality in my car using my ipod is just as good as using a cd in the car. Buy this cable !!!!!! You will not be sorry.

Fits perfectly with iPhone 4s and Otter Box Commuter Series case. I use the cable in my car. At first I was charging the phone at the same time I was playing music through the AUX port on the car stereo using this cable. The sound quality was poor with a lot of noise that did not change with the volume of the phone but did with the volume of the stereo. However, once I unplugged the charger, the noise went away. So the cable appears to be fine but either the charger is causing interference or that is just what happens with iPhones. Anyway --no complaints for the cable.

Slimline connector is a must if you have a thick case like Otter Box.

This cable locks fully into the headphone jack on my Samsung Galaxy S phone. I have tried another brand and it did not connect fully, resulting in a lot of static and sound coming from only one car speaker. As it connects fully the sound is great, there is no static, and it stays connected to the phone even if it gets bounced around.
