Bad device, it only works with the included software therefore it does no good to me.

I wanted to use it with my Finale program but apparently it does not produce midi signal which it defeated the

purpose of being USB. And the rubber smell is awful it's being sitting in my garage since I tried it once and did not

work for me.

If you are buying this because it is one of the cool USB gadgets that you want to own, Go Ahead!!!

OR If you want to quickly check tuning, note reference for music / song, and you happen to carry a laptop where ever you plan to do this, Go Ahead!!!

But if you are planning to learn to play Piano OR perform, This is NOT what you are looking for!!!

If you want this to work with any musical software other than what is supplied, This is NOT what you are looking for!!!

Pros

It is a cool USB gadget one can buy!

Very portable, fits in your bag easily

Accompanying Software is simple and good. It has rhythm and recording facility for what you play.

Cons

It is made of rubber and can be smelly for some

It is very hard to straighten it out, the edges still curl up.

Some keys turn out to sound twice even if you press once.

you need to press hard to play and get adjusted to pressing this hard. No Velocity sensitivity on board :(

There is a delay between you pressing the key and the sound output (This may also depend on your laptop configuration)

The only software that this will work is the one supplied with. I haven't seen anyone write a MIDI driver for this for windows yet.

You have to have the laptop with you for this to work. Portability only means ease of lugging it around.

This keyboard is worth the $23, but that's about it.

To play it, you have to press some keys harder than others.

Perhaps it is the interface I have with Garageband on my MacBook Air.
