I have used the cord with apps such as Netflix and DirecTV Sunday Ticket (the Amazon Prime App apparently doesn't support video out) and have already put in many hours of use in just a few days on my iPad 3. It hasn't had any problems and works perfectly with the iPad. My only complaint is that the cord has a tendency to come loose from the dock connector of the iPad (especially if you are using the iPad and have it hooked up to the external display) but this would seem more of Apple's design issue than the cord itself and is easily remedied by refitting the cord into the dock connector.

Overall, I am very happy with this purchase as it is exactly what I was looking for. If you are looking for an external video out cord, look no further. You will not be disappointed.

Works like a champ! Video from Ipad to HD TV. Awesome video and sound quality. Charger works great too. I just leave the cable hooked up and plug in the Ipad when I want to feed to the TV. Careful---you can't stream videos from Ipad that aren't paid for, which includes all that free stuff for being an Amazon Prime subscriber.

Product took a little time to get here, but it works very well with my 4' cable. Didn't work with 10' HDMI cable, probably not adapters fault...not enough signal coming out of the Iphone to handle a consistent signal. Quality seems good too.
