I had previously purchase a Uniden OceanUS DCS -it only worked for about 5 hours but I did like the quick disconnect feature that allows you to remove it from your boat. I recently purchased the Uniden 415K, started the installation and realized it doesn't have a quick disconnect. I have a center console so the unit will either sit in all kinds of weather, or the first time I dock at a marina somewhere, the wires will get cut and I'm out of a VHF radio. I've attempted to point this out to Uniden but they won't even acknowledge my email. They seem to be pushing sales over quality.
