First off, I should admit that my expectation were set a little incorrectly for buying a "toy" camera. I was expecting a little better build on the camera itself, but I guess the key is the lens, not the body.

A quick note: the view finder is completely useless due to the field of view of the lens; I am still trying to get used to this.

I collect cameras and this one probably will never see a roll of film.

But given the design and purpose of this inexpensive camera, I feel it is easily worth four stars. I'm sure the picture quality measures up to its price.

Make it a digital camera, and it would easily earn that fifth star.

Perhaps you don't feel I should be reviewing a product I haven't used. But I'm quite sure that if I put it to use, my rating wouldn't change.

Quite satisfied with this purchase.

Out of the box this "toy" camera is a lot of fun to mess around with. Its simple in that there are no real big controls, nothing to mess up, just point and click. The only annoyance I have with this model is that the viewfinder is partially blocked by the lens. So you kind of have ot guess where the actual center of the frame is. I would say this would be a good introductory model into the 35mm fisheye world. You can mess with it, get used to the Lomo feel and then upgrade to the medium format Diana +f medium format model.
