Very weak connection. Required the use of the 740129-1 to ensure it stays plugged in. If the unit is jarred the power connection also fails and the echosounder shuts off.

I bought this so I could download upgrades in the house. I use it on my 798 and my 597 units. I can practice using my units in the comfort of my house instead of running outside and hooking the units up to the boat. Very convenient.
