I was going to velcro the Roku to the back of the tv and then found this. Easy to attach (multiple options), and keeps the box out of the way while maintaining accessibility, However,my ROKU LT is not able to be controlled with it on the back of the tv. The IR signal will not work. Just a thought to anyone else out there that may be wanting to use this product in the same mannor as I had intended.

fits perfectly behind my T.V... i have it sort of peek-a-booing over the top edge so that i can still see it and so that it can communicate with the remote. if it's low on your tv and if you can't see it, you're going to have remote issues. while i think it could drop in price by a few dollars, it is a convenient little gadget add-on so I'm happy with buying it.

You might say this is an expensive item for a small plastic box and clips, but you cannot deny that this makes for a clean, professional installation of a Roku Series 2 media streamer to the back of your HDTV. It comes with sveral styles of plastic mounting clips to attach it to the vents at the top of the TV. In my case, this did not work due to the curved nature and spacing of the vents on my Toshiba unit. The solution was to purchase some Scotch heavy duty Velcro mounting strips (also from Amazon) to make everything right. The Roku unit slides in easily with full cable access in case of service or adjustments. Very satisfied with the finished results!

I just received this mounting unit along with my Roku 2 XD, purchased together. I couldn't be happier with this purchase (and the Roku, of course). Someone had their thinking cap on when they designed this clever Roku mount which tucks everything away out of sight on the back side of the television. The remote signal bounces off the wall behind the television to the concealed Roku and works no less efficiently than if the remote were pointed directly at a Roku in plain view. (I was a little doubtful that the remote would work with the Roku mounted out of sight, but it works perfectly. Who knew?)

Included with the bracket which holds the Roku mount are a selection of plastic clips of different types to attach the mount to the television vents. They are: 2 pairs for vertical vents, 2 pairs for horizontal vents, 2 pairs for round vents. Only one pair is needed to secure the mount in place, so nice to have extras. There are also two velcro straps for fastening the Roku mount to the metal bracket of a wall-mounted TV if you prefer. If for some reason the Roku can't read the bounced signal from the remote (though I can't imagine what that reason would be), there are two nice long screws for fastening the mount to the wall (in sight) rather than the back of the TV.

There's really no "installation" as such. Just choose a pair of clip on hangers, depending on the configuration of the vents on the back of your television and "hang" the Roku mount (with Roku) from the TV. There's also a pamphlet of detailed instructions explaining everything, just in case you're a "read the directions first" person.

That's it. You're done. And the best part is that there's not yet another piece of TV paraphernalia cluttering up the joint.

I had previously just attached the Roku to the back of my TV with velcro, but after it fell down a few times, I researched a solution and found this product. The totalmount product is easy to use and has several different mounting options. I would highly recommend this product.
