these speakers are great. extremely clear highs/ mids and bass is more than expected.... almost 50% less than crutchfield prices and other comparable listings. Wouldn't install any other marine speakers (JL, JBL, Sony, Polk, etc...) now that I have these alpines.

These 7" speakers are kick ass! They are about double the impact of the 6.5" speakers I replaced. Literally 50% deeper and heavier than the 6.5" and 100% better sound. Sound quality is excellent. I would highly recommend and will buy a second set for next season.

I already had a few speakers in my boat (18 foot open bow) but wasn't satisfied as I couldn't hear the music clearly while at speed... I bought a set of these Alpine SPR-M7-7" speakers and my mind is blown! Very clear, even at upwards of 50mph! And super loud when I want them to be. Also, my existing speakers are Sony 6 1/2 marine speakers, and they are dwarfed by these in every facet... sound quality is amazing, and the bass they create is enough to ripple my drink while on the boat! I would HIGHLY recommend these speakers and will be switching my other Sony's out for more Alpine's ASAP!

Researched for weeks. I bought one pair of M700 Alpines and 1 pair of Infinity 6.5" marine speakers. When you pick up an Alpine 7" speaker, you can feel the difference right away. Heavy magnet, heavy casing, built for heavy duty! The Infinity speakers sound great, with these four speakers I can turn the stereo loose (200 watts) without losing quality sound. The overall sound quality is better from the Alpines, but the Infinity speakers are a close second! The only way to get more sound is to step up to 6x9's. If the Alpines are $30 to $50 more than whichever 6.5" speaker you're looking at, it's a bargain!
