This is a very comprehensive warranty for a product (small/inexpensive laptops) that by its very design is destined to take a lot of abuse. The Square Trade people provide professional service quickly with no runarounds or attempts to figure out a way to avoid coverage. And the repair people they use do a great job. You can buy this without wondering what's going to happen when you need it. It will be there.

If I knew about this warranty I would have purchased this for my iphones and ipads. I haven't had to use the service, so It's not a true rating of the warranty process, but I think it's a fair deal for what is offerred and have recommended this warranty to friends.

I see these plans offered frequently, but rarely buy them. When building my new computer, I decided to buy a protection plan for the two items most prone to failure the motherboard and a Solid Stae Drive. I've nver had to use one of these, so I can't comment on how useful and effective they are.

We all hope we don't need to RMA; but when buying from a place you don't know well, you might consider some extra protection.

By the way, this plan was cheaper here than it was on a major computer parts website.
